# OpnCut

> OpnCut is a Mac app that turns the AI coding agent you already use (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Aider) into a video producer for your app. Describe the video in one sentence: the agent writes the storyboard, animates your real app screens, adds licensed music and a voiceover, and exports launch videos, App Store and Google Play previews and social ads in every format.

## What it does

- Storyboard first: the agent plans the scenes, the hook and the call to action before it builds anything.
- Real UI, animated: scenes are built from your app's own screens and design system (DESIGN.md), not stock mockups, so every take is perfect and easy to update when the UI changes.
- Feedback on the frame: click a moment in the preview, type the change ("make the button orange"), and the agent fixes it.
- Sound included: a licensed music library fitted to the cut, and AI voiceovers timed to each scene, cleared for ads.
- Every format from one movie: App Store preview (886 x 1920), Google Play, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, square and website.
- Local: projects live and render on your Mac; you use your own agent subscription.

## Who it's for

Indie app and SaaS builders and small startup teams who build with AI coding agents and need a launch video, an App Store preview or ads, without learning a video editor or hiring an agency.

- Free: creating and editing are free; 5 exports a month with a small "Made with OpnCut" mark. Your first movie with music and voice is on us, once (not every month).
- Plus: $12 a month ($9 billed yearly): unlimited exports, no watermark, 10 music and 10 voice exports a month.
- Pro: $29 a month ($24 billed yearly): unlimited exports, music and voice.
- Unlock a single clean movie: $9.

## Compared with

- Remotion: a React framework for writing videos in code. OpnCut movies are also code, but OpnCut adds the producer: live preview with frame comments, storyboard and pacing skills, licensed music, voiceover, stock search and export per format, with no rendering setup.
- Screen recording tools (e.g. Screen Studio): need a perfect take and real data; OpnCut rebuilds the UI as animated scenes.
- AI video generators: invent footage; OpnCut shows your actual product.
